the thing i admire about dan is that he actively uses his platform to promote human rights and bring light to world issues. other creators often seek drama, etc, to give themselves a spotlight, and i can never recall a moment where dan has done this. he used social media to support change, such as when australia and india changed their laws on same sex relationships/marriage. his likes literally all highlight how engaged he is in making a change in the world and he knows that we look through them. encouraging people (who can) to vote on his instagram. even his videos, talking about making the difference by either being a supporter of someone with mental health issues or inspiring whoever may be struggling to allow themselves to get help. he became a mental health ambassador and strives to break the stigma around mental health, going to schools and doing talks which millions of people will watch. creating merch sporting words of encouragement in which every single earning he made from went to his mental health charity.
